You can find the official EPCA communication below :

Dear Members of the EPCA community
We regret to inform you that, as a result of the severe global disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the EPCA Board of Directors has unanimously decided that the 54th Annual Meeting will not take place in Budapest on 4-7 October, as planned.

Even in the event that the various pandemic lockdown measures were to be lifted, the potential participation of several thousand individuals would create an undue risk to delegates, speakers, staff members and external suppliers as well as to the citizens of Budapest.

Yet, in these challenging times, it is more important than ever that we demonstrate solidarity and continue to discuss and engage. Therefore, the Board of Directors has decided to transition the EPCA 54th Annual Meeting to a virtual format, during the time period originally planned but with a revised programme. Therefore, please ensure that you keep the dates in your agenda blocked.

We are already working on the practicalities of this innovative approach in order to ensure that the 54th EPCA Annual Meeting is as engaging and meaningful as possible. We will keep you informed on the details of the planned programme as it evolves, before summer.

We thank you for your continued support and understanding and very much look forward to seeing and engaging with you – albeit virtually – in the very near future.

Until that time, please stay healthy and please use our social media hashtag ‘#EPCA’ to share your stories and initiatives during these strange times.

Sincerely yours,
Your EPCA Team
